One of the best ways to relax, recharge, and get inspired is through film. I picking a good movie based on fashion or travel, making coconut oil popcorn, and putting my phone on "do not disturb" mode. Below is a list of my favorite chic and inspirational films that will either transport you to another city or into another perspective. Enjoy! xx

1. Eat Pray Love

A film full of food, romance, and indulgence.

2. Franca: Chaos and Creation

This Netflix documentary highlights the life of Franca Sozzani, the former Editor in Chief of Italian Vogue. She completely changed the landscape of Vogue and fashion reporting in general. She ran many controversial editorials in Italian Vogue that blurred the lines between fashion and news. This is by far my favorite documentary and perfectly showcases the life of a strong, beautiful, passionate woman in the fashion industry.

3. Mamma Mia 1 & 2

Travel, Music, Family, and Cheesy Romance! What else could one need? 

Mamma Mia 2 is one of the rare instances where the sequel rivals the original movie. These films never get old and provide a beautiful escape to the Mediterranean coast with a different and joyful ABBA hit playing every 10 minutes.

4. Call Me By Your Name

A beautiful and artistic portrayal of love in northern Italy. This movie really tugs at your heartstrings and ends with a circular moral within the family that displays the break in generational fear of loving who you truly love. The backdrop of a lush Italian summer is lovely as well.

5. The Devil Wears Prada

 Gird your loins for one of the best and most iconic movies of all time. From the cerulean belt and the lumpy blue sweater to the Harry Potter manuscript... any girl would kill for this job, right? And let's not forget the Gisele cameo!
